I have a vision board (as I encourage all of you to have) and on it is all the things I want in life. They are all goals I am working on achieving. The vision board helps remind every day of my goals and keeps me motivated to work on them. Well this morning I received an email which was about one of my goals. Opportunity was knocking and I was ready and answered the door. So now I am waiting to hear from this opportunity but when it knocked I did not hesitate, I jumped into action. It is important that when you set goals you work towards them and plan them out. Preparation is so important when working towards your goals. If you have always wanted to be on a singer, you do not want to randomly met the guy who could make your dream come true and when he asks for your demo tape, you respond, “I was going to work on that next week.” Opportunity missed.Think about your goals and what it takes to achieve them. Do the work NOW to get ready for the opportunities. When you hear the knocking, you will be all set to JUMP into action and turn your dream into reality.I am so excited about my opportunity and once I hear more, I will share more with you. Wish me luck and keep your fingers crossed.

WOW!
Congratulations on your mystery opportunity.
I remember when my parental units were involved with the AMWAY corporation and their goal was to become Diamond Direct Distributors and as a part of that they would be on the corporate yacht so my step-mother cut out their faces and put them on other people’s bodies who were on the yacht. So seeing yourself as achieving your goal and being successful you visualize your goal accomplished.
Take Care-

PS- I would LOVE to be ON a singer! As far as a demo tape does that mean I need to tape myself performing sex acts?

I am stuck.
I am stuck.
I am stuck…
How many times do I tell myself that each day?
How can i get unstuck?
Too many days, weeks and years feeling this way. I must get up, make the decision, and do something.
I want to make things different.
This week I will make a change.

You are going to have to share with me how the change goes. I have no doubt it will be great and the first step to many more.

Chris and Michael-
Just a thought- I know I am behind but hopefully you will get to see this- When you say “you are stuck” you are talking that into existence. If you say to yourself “I am unstuck” then that will be your reality.
Michael I am not sure if your philosophy is that if you say something that you are validating that idea. The example is that you are a 55 gallon drum of liquid and if it is filled with negative thoughts and thoughts of self doubt then there is no room for anything else. Imagine if negative thoughts are red Kool-aid and positive thoughts are clear water if you add the water to the 55 gallon drum and only have one cup of red Kool-aid then the Kool-aid and it is highly diluted. So you won’t be able to see the red Kool-aid in the drum. So the more positive thoughts you say and think about yourself the better off you are. I know it is a hard thing to do. I was given a challenge to only say positive things for 30 days and if you have to start over, then you start over. I am not perfect in that matter, so it is better to do what I say than do what I do, I try to live my life as open and honestly as I can, with only allowing positive feelings about myself to reflect who I am. I could find flaws about myself, but I I don’t dwell on the negative, I try to only see the positive, such as I have thinning hair and I could let it depress me or I can look at the positives. I don’t spend hours trying to do my hair, I no longer spend time blow drying my hair and I save a lot of money on hair products. I hope you get the idea.

I so understand you. I agree with even with the thinning hair. I use to really let it get to me (who I am kidding, I still do sometimes) so I started having to remember it is part of life and to be happy for all the other things I have.
PLUS I learned to realize I was never known for my hair but for my smile. So I needed to be thankful for that instead.

So I am stuck…
Having suffered with depression for more than 30 years, I have finally been offered help by me Doctors surgery – well, they referred me almost 3 years ago, and then lost the referral – so here I am having undertaken the first two sessions – how do I say this without being negative?
They tell me I am only allowed 6 x 45 minute sessions such is the demand. If I need more I have to go on the list again for at least another 2 years. Not a helpful start – it has put me in a state of mind where I am wondering what is the point in starting this? How could anyone expect to get to an improved place after such a time limit being imposed?
So how do I unravel the confusion and mist which occupies my mind? I will have to seek the answers somewhere else.

You are stuck. I am sorry to hear that. The good news is your looking to move on and find some other way to get your needs met. You just have to decide what is best for you. What do you need? What will get you the results you are looking for?
