Often times, I am scared of doing something good and getting what I want. Or, scared of fixing something only to find there is something else I have to deal with. Still, i’m able to change attitudes and behaviors in order to do better things for myself.
when i have trouble with this i try to check my premises.
why do i want to do it? what’s my motivation / reward for hanging on to bad habits?
explore what, if anything, i fear about the change.
try to accentuate the positive.
those be my tips.
That depends on what you’re thinking you need to do. Fear of change, feeling self-care might be selfish, not really wanting to make the change are some of the things that might play a role. : )

I ask myself that question almost daily. For me it’s about convenience and comfort.
