Do you remember when you were a kid and you would play dodgeball with friends? It was so much fun but then we grow up and let it go…

Well it is time to bring it back! Next time there is some tense between you and a friend or maybe your group of friends. Do not decide to sit down and have a LONG conversation about your feelings. NO! You go outside, draw a line with chalk and start throwing this red rubber balls at each other.

Once you are laughing until it hurts, covered in sweat and maybe have a little limp, it is time to quit, hug and go nurse your wounds with a nice milkshake together.

When have you known me not to be random. :) Sometimes things just pop in my head. Just trying to make life a little more silly and fun. :)

It would be nice, (in a perfect world) peoples & nations would settle their problems with each other by a good dodgeball game, instead slaughtering each other.

    But… maybe one day…

Dodge ball was not a fond memory for me as it was called in my school “Smear the Queer”
Michael, I am sure as you had mentioned that high school was not a pleasant experience for you, well that was my experience in grade school.
By the time high school arrived, I had moved to go live with my dad and step-mother, the town was closer to a bigger city, and I could go hang out with my friends in East Lansing, (home of Michigan State University, MSU) I did my own thing in high school, I didn’t belong to a click, so I floated between the jocks, banders, geeks, and burnouts. I do pretty good in a one on one situation, so I didn’t have a circle of friends, and I still don’t.
Sorry for getting off topic. :-)
Back to playing Dodge Ball I am sure we could play a different game that would allow our friends to go out and blow off steam!
A side note here -my college instructor for my ‘Intro to Law’ broke her leg before class was supposed to begin, our option was to take a night course Tuesday and Thursday nights for 3 hours. OR take an online class, I chose the online class. I did manage to get a 4.0! It worked out.
Take Care and have a GREAT weekend!
