I am about to send off all my albums of pictures to be scanned so I will have an electronic copy saved forever. As I was looking through a few of my albums, the memories and stories started spilling back to me.
I realized how pictures really do catch a moment and trigger the experience back in your mind. I thought it would be fun to do a whole week themed on pictures! So for the rest of the week (5 days) I am going to post a random photo and share with you the story behind the picture.
I am hoping this will help you to get to know a little more about me during the week.

I LOVE this idea. Are you scanning them yourself, or is there a service that does this? If so, please share the info!

You actually ship them all your albums and they scan them for you. It is great because it is fast, you don’t have to do it and they promise the quality.

I wanted to do this since my dad took pictures as slides. I wanted to make DVDs for the whole family for a Christmas present. I asked for them, but I got a response “we will have to sort through them” I am concerned since we are a blended family I wanted some pictures before my mom and dad divorced. So I could make one DVD for me and my sisters and one for when my dad married my step mother and her two kids.
I just don’t want an edited version of MY life!
Is this service expensive?
