I changed gyms because I was made uncomfortable in my last one by 2 or 3 guys there. In retrospect I wish I handled it differently since running isn't always the best choice but in this case I'm happy in my new gym. I really hope the best for your friend. It is sad that there are companies who still do not mention gay people being harrassed. I hope people realize all harrassment is bad. These days there is really no constraint to harassment, it can come in a variety of forms. I hope your friend is able to communicate this and correct the situation.
