I believe in karma. I have seen it over and over again. What you put out there is what you get in return. Like they always say, “What goes around, comes around. ”
So how do you increase your good karma?
One thing I do is random but a lot of fun for me. I love to be in a drive through at Starbucks and when I get to the window, I ask how much the order is behind me and I pay for them.
They do not know who I am nor will they get a chance to thank me as I will be gone by the time they find out but, what a surprise they must get to know their order is taken care of.
I do it because I love surprises. I do it because it is fun. I do it because I believe sometimes we just need that in ourselves, to have a stranger do something nice for us. I also enjoy having a opportunity to give to someone else.
Now, don’t you wish sometimes you were behind me in Starbucks?
I am very close to my mother. When I am walking around and I see people who look like my mom, I tend to reach out to them. I open the door for them. I smile at them. I will talk to them while I am waiting in line.
Why do I do this? Because deep down, I hope someone will do the same for my mom. If it raining, I would hope someone would hold the door for her when I am not there. I would hope if she needed help, someone else would help her.
I am putting it out there because I want it to return to my mom.
To me, karma is all about sending out how you want to be treated by the world. The more you put out there, the more you will get the same.
My mom’s friend, Jinx was like a grandma to me. One thing I really learned from her was that she loved the world and, in return, the world loved her.
I work hard each day to put out what I want in the world. Trust me, I mess up just like everyone else. It happens.
The important part is I am aware of a change and I am working to make it a habit. How would your world be different, if you did the same?

This is another nice post from you! Karma can be really be a pain in the ass sometimes but not unless its good karma. I think you develop what you are right now because of what happened in the past, eventually you learn. My good karma move would be helping out other people in their problems, even though I am not entitled to do so. I can just watch them endure their own problems, but when they ask for my help its really hard for me to say no. Because I’ve been in that situation many times, where my friends disappeared during tough times. So it gave me a feeling of need to help them even they didn’t do it for me, because I know how it feels. It reminded me of how I felt when no one was their and I don’t think anyone deserves to feel that way. I really enjoy your blog!

I was taught that if you plant corn you get corn, NOT peas!
Also, I was taught that if you plant love you will get love in return. The same thing goes with money, I realize that with the way the economy is, some people might not choose to be generous with their money, but the universe works in mysterious ways. You just need to have faith.
It might take a large leap of faith but you just have to trust that you will get back more than what you put out.
I was really surprised to get a mailing from “Feed the World” so I put it in the recycle bin, but something kept saying that I need to open the envelope and make a donation when I read what was in the envelope Mars candy company was going to match the donation by 3 TIMES my donation so I had to think about if I was going to donate $20 or save it to buy groceries for myself. I donated it and then to my surprise I received a rebate check that I had forgotten about for $40.00! I am not sure if the rebate was just some random thing that I donated $20.00 and I got $40 in return, granted the rebate was my money in the first place but it was unexpected.
I guess what I am saying that
So plant a lot of love and pay it forward.
