Here are my questions for this week…

If you could inherit a comfortable home in any city in the world that you could use but not sell, where would you want it to be?

I would want to be in Orlando. I know, why wouldn’t I move? My friends and family are here. I have lived my whole life in Orlando so it is my home. I enjoy knowing the history of the town. Orlando is also a major tourist destination and I am lucky enough to live here year round. My favorite place to go to is the beach and we have the most coast line in the US. You can not beat Orlando weather. It is always sunny and I love the beautiful blue skies.

Now, where would I live in town? I think I would either live downtown in a condo with a view of Lake Eola (of course not too high up) so I can watch the fireworks from my living room. Or I would like a place in Baldwin Park which is just off downtown. But I did inherit it so I can not be picky, can I?

If you could inherit a vacation home anywhere in the world in which you could spend one month a year, but that you could never sell, where would it be?

I would want it to be located on a private beach on Siesta Key in Sarasota, Florida. I would want to be able to see the sun set every evening from the house. I would love to have a nice pool overlooking the ocean but always a nice stretch of private beach all for my guests and myself to enjoy. A perfect beach view without any hotels in the way.

Why would I pick someone in Florida? Because I would thinking the Caribbean but if a hurricane comes I want to be able to get inland. This way, I will only have to drive back to my inherited home in Orlando. I will be all set.

If you could suddenly possess an extraordinary talent in one of the arts, what would you like it to be?

I would love to be able to sing and it would be an amazing singing voice. I love to sing now but I am so bad. Being able to sing and people would actually like it, would be a great positive change.

I do not think I would do it professional. I think it would be way too much stress to perform all the time as a singer. PLUS, I love to talk so much and I sure as a singer you have to save your voice. I would be so screwed. :)

If you could be instantly fluent in one other language that you currently do not read or speak, which would it be?

I would want it to be spanish. I think it would be so handy in life. I am always wanted to learn spanish but I honestly think it would take me a long time to get it down. I remember always practicing in school and I seem to never be able to pronounce the words right. I still have problems with speaking english.

Everyone knows I want to learn American Sign Language but I really think I can get that down so, I would take the courses for it and learn spanish right away.

Those are my answers for this week’s questions. What are yours?

Oh we get them. It is just easier to handle when you are more inland.

Hey, thanks for checking out my blog!

    My answers:

Home: Nashville. I’ve found myself in love with the South, and it almost seems to me that there is no place better. It’s such a great blend of urban and country. I would want an apartment or penthouse overlooking the city. I just want out of the Michigan cold. My parents have already vowed to move with me to warmer weather.

Vacation place: NYC. I try to balance my life quite a bit, so a vacation for me isn’t necessarily relaxing; it’s excitement and exploration. Going to see a show, wandering a museum, or just going for a walk sounds perfect to me.

Art talent: I wish I could play guitar. It’s kinda silly…and doable. I love to sing and I’m not bad at it, and I play sax, but you can’t do those at the same time.

Language: Chinese. I dunno why. Nihao ma?

    Steve,

What great answers! It is your life and I love that you know what you would want.

Great talent to already play the sax. I am not musically inclined. :(

    Thanks for sharing!
