I went to Vegas for Steph and Mike’s wedding and it was a beautiful ceremony and reception. It was down right magical and it was fitting for a great couple.

A long time ago a friend told me this great advice about relationships. She said a man is the icing on your cake. Not matter how much icing you have, the cake still needs to be whole to really work out.

Basically, you are the cake. You have to take care of yourself, be comfortable with who you are and understand the person you are. You have to feel complete with yourself. Cake is great all by itself.

Now when you add icing to a cake, it does not complete the cake because the cake is fine all on its own but it just adds that something special to make it a little better.

A man never completes you, he only helps to make life better. If he is not making life better, then why are you keeping him around?
