I sure this is not surprised to anyone but I love hugs! I can never be hugged enough and I am one of those people that if you open your arms, I will so hug you.
I know a lot of people hesitate to hug people. They are afraid the other person will reject them. I am not one of those people. I truly believe if you open your arms people will give you a hug right back. If they don’t, well at least you know. It is them who are missing out, not you.
If I meet you for the first time, of course I will not hug you but, after I know you, I will hug you every time I say hi and good bye. I do not want to think that one day I could miss the opportunity to give you a hug to show I care. Life is too short to miss these opportunities.
I am taking this opportunity to send each of you a virtual hug to let you know I care about each of you. I appreciate you taking the time to read my blog.
How can you hug me back? All you have to do is hug someone else today. You can hug them good bye, good them hello, hug them because they need it, or hug them just because. Just hug someone today as my hug back.

Michael-
I don’t recommend hugging a complete stranger! LOL
I am also a hugger. I will never forget that when I was younger in my 20’s I had a rental car (a red camaro) and I was at a friends house and the neighbor boy had just gotten his learners permit. We (my friend and the neighbor kid with the learners permit and one of his friends) we all went for a drive. Everyone was giving this poor guy grief so when we got back to the driveway I instantly got out of the car and gave this kid a hug saying he did GREAT!
It was not a sexual hug, just a supportive hug. I didn’t think twice about it, but my friend completely went off like I wanted to have sex with this 16 year old kid!
I just thought I was giving him a reassurance hug saying you did GREAT! regardless of what other people who were in the car was saying.
I am not sure if he appreciated my hug or not but he did hug me back. I always wondered if I embarrassed him or not or if he appreciated it.
*hugs*

Michael,
I do too hug my friends hello and goodbye. It’s a great feeling.
((o))
Where I live (i’m not from the US) we also kiss on the cheek (just one kiss, not like in Spain where they do two); so it’s a great double thing, a kiss and a hug!
So there goes my kiss and hug right back at you!
God bless!

Hi Michael,
Hugs are always good! If I don’t feel like being hugged, or giving one, it’s a sure marker that something is going on emotionally and it’s time for some self evaluation. Keep up the good work. Here’s a hug on me.

I always do this now when I’m meeting someone for the first time. I can tell some people are hesitant, but I haven’t had anyone reject the hug yet! Although my friend’s new BF seemed a little scared about my hug last weekend, but he got over it and hugged back.

So true. How much better the world would be if a hug was shared instead of the blast from an ak47. Wars would be a lot shorter, not to mention a bit more enjoyable. So how about a hug war instead? (big grin and hug inserted here).

Thanks awfully, Michael! I love to give hugs, and I love to be hugged, but I’m scared to sometimes because it might be taken wrong, especially if I’m hugging a guy. (I’m a girl). But I avidly hug the ones I know won’t have a problem with it!
Here’s a hug for you! *hug*
