I KNOW!

Posted In: Television by Michael

When I saw this cover, I freaked out! I am so excited to see the “new” 90210 and I am glad two of my favorites will be part of the show.

It is a comfortable feeling to know a show I loved growing up is returning and even including some of the characters from the original. I look forward to being addicted to the show once again and not missing any of the drama that takes place at West Beverly High.

The other part of me is prepared that I may not like the show. It won’t be the same as when I watched it and it might not appeal to me as it did long ago. I am older now so will I even relate to the high school drama? Will I consistently compare it to the old one?

This is why I do not live in the past. The past is long gone and all we have all the memories and the lessons learned. We have to move on from the past because we can not recreate it or relive it. Life is all about enjoying the present and making the future what we want it to be.

How can I watch the new 90210? By letting go of the old one and knowing this is a NEW show. The past is back there and I have to be open to the new students, new problems and new stories. It may or may not keep my attention but I will give it a chance because I am excited.

You truly have to let go of the past to move on and enjoy the present. What are you still holding on from the past that is keeping you from enjoying the present?

I’m already totally hooked after one episode. It’s like the O.C. and the old 90210 had a baby! My only criticism is that two of the main characters weigh approximately 25lbs each. Hopefully they’ll start eating food sometime soon.

    Don’t you think Kelly’s son is Dylan’s?

    Becky,

I know!! It is good!! They are very thin. They needed the Peach Pit with the fatty food. :)

I so think it is Dylan’s son and that will be a surprise when he shows up!

I’m afraid this show is going to take over my life, b/c they played an encore presentation last night and I could have easily watched it again! I fought the urge though. We need to have a viewing party!!
