    MY little pornstar! hehehe

happy birthday… can you believe you are 30 now… i remember the time that we both thought that like 30 was old … and now i just laugh at that…since i am now 39… heading for 40 like a speedball going to hell…

so the pornstar name stuck because the first time i ever saw you, i was going to wax you and you had a pornstar shirt on i think and i did not know that your mom was with you and kidded you about it … i was so not right in the old days …but that day you got a piece of my heart and we became best friends forever. i am so happy of your accomplishments! you have come a long way baby, and now the sky is the limit!

my wishes for you, is that you will always be HEALTHY, SAFE and protected from the evils of this world, that you will always remember to put your best foot forward in everything you do, that you learn from all your experiences, and those that are going through things around you.

that one day, you will be happy and content in all things in your life, because you deserve it….

you are my superstar, my little pornstar,

thanks for all the times that you were there for me, when i did not know i needed you …but you did…

    love you always….

    Well, let’s see …
The economy is in peril, gas prices are off the charts, unemployment is at an all-time high in Florida, picking a presidential candidate is loike picking the “best of the worst”, and crime is out of control.
With all that in the world … your blog is one bright area of my day. I look forward to it everyday. And you have, on several occasions, made me smile or even laugh out loud. Keep smiling and spreading the joy! And remember …

“Laugh like it’s your last time,
Work like you don’t need money,
Love like you’ve never been hurt,
    Sing like no one’s listening
    Dance like no one’s watching,
And live like each day is your last”

    Thanks, Michael!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I got you a gift, but he won’t hold still long enough for me to wrap him. LOL

OMG! I remember when I turned 30. Most of my friends were older and they showered me with love, flowers and gifts. I received so many flowers at work that the guys in the office joked, “the claws are coming out today.”

My man (at the time) cleaned my apartment, let me soak in a hot bubble bath sipping wine and eating fruit and cheese and as he cooked a delicious dinner followed by many sinful things; one of them chocolate desserts. The rest…I don’t kiss and tell…I will share my age – 50 and fabulous.

Congratulations! Enjoy. Sending you love today and always.

    Michael,
I believe that I have been fortunate enough to celebrate your birthday with you in some way ever since we met. (6 yrs ago?) This year, the luau, last year the Italian place with the really slow service and the bones in my food, the year before that, the melting pot….(and that’s as far as my memory will take me b/c I too am getting older and more forgetful =)

The story I’d like to share is the story of when I knew we’d be friends for life. We went out downtown with some people we used to work with and ended up at The Waverly. We were both in awe of how awesome our co-workers apartment was. I remember we decided to dance in the bath tub b/c it was so big. For whatever reason, I also decided it would be a great idea to turn the water on and we continued to dance full clothed in the shower. I knew we’d be friends forever b/c you thought it was as great of an idea as I did. We both knew that dancing in the shower in your nice dress clothes isn’t normal, but it sure was fun!

I will never forget you walking to your car in those tiny borrowed shorts and your dress shoes. I’m laughing right now picturing the whole scene.

Anyway, Happy Birthday and congratulations on your accomplishments. You are a great friend and are one of my most favorite people in the whole world.

Keep dancing your way through the next 30 years!

Oh, man! I knew this day was coming, but for some reason am still shocked. It doesn’t seem possible that you’re 30. (But, then, it doesn’t seem possible that I’m 32…)

So here’s my Mikey story. You were 9 and I was 11 when we met for the first time. (Jill and Eric were getting married.) We hit it off right away—possibly because we were both weird—and spent the trip doing offbeat things that probably annoyed everyone.

I vaguely remember sitting in Arby’s in Bartlesville, OK and singing the Facts of Life TV Theme out loud with you. “You take the good, you take the bad, you take it all and there you have…the facts of life.” Though it was silly at the time, man, those words ring true as I get older! And I’m sure you agree…

In spite of those bad things, I’m so thankful to have you as a part of my life. More than you know. I get so busy with work, the husband, 5 animals (!), animal rescue volunteer work, and the like that I don’t reach out as much as I should. I just want you to know I still think of you often and fondly. (And, yes, this day is still scribbled on the calendar in my kitchen as “Mike’s Birthday!” I just stopped keeping track of age when I hit 30.)

I love you, Mike. Happy 30th Birthday!

    Michael,

I started reading your blog about two or three months ago. I was going through a rocky time and your insight has helped me since to see the brighter side of things. I really enjoy surrounding me of good positive things/people/reading/books; and you have definitely become one.
Even though we have never met, and we don’t have any stories in common, I feel as I’ve known you for a while and have identified more than with some people I share every day. I wish you the best, so that your life is always full of great things, and hope you can keep inspiring us to become the best we can be.
As we would say here in my country: Feliz Cumpleaños! (in case you didn’t know that’s happy birthday in spanish). Have a blast!!!
    God blesss you!

    Ariela

ps.: did you see the movie 13 going to 30? she wishes she would be ’30 and flirty and thriving’, you don’t have to wish that, you’re that already!!!!!!!!

    Michael Michael Michael…

What to say? Well do to the nature of this posting I feel obligated to keep it clean. You know how much this will handcuff me! That being said for what seems to be a truly virtual friendship I can honestly say I value none more then ours! I may have missed the first 28 or so years but rest assured for all that you have remaining you are stuck with me.

Today on this momentus occassion I make you this promise – That which you have asked, attempted to plan and seemed to want me to share with you so desperately….if it hasn’t happened through the natural order of things…..we will make a date of things and make it happen on October 14th 2028. Sounds fair enough to me! Assuming you still wanna see it at the age of 50!

I wish you all the best and happily ever afters!

    Love Jimmy

Happy Birthday, Michael! I still have wonderful memories of you driving my PT Cruiser to wonderful and exciting Universal Studios for whatever concert we went and saw.

Happy 30th!!!! Enjoy yourself and smile all day, even if you trip on your shoelace, and fall face first into a spilled Slurpee on the sidewalk…smile anyway.

Happy birthday, Michael! :-) I am figuratively turning on a button that will rain down confetti, then filling a room with red balloons and a happy birthday song by Christina Aguilera.

When I first met you at Keiser, I was so grateful to finally have a supervisor who was fun. You were living your life out loud and livening up the workplace. Because of your great sense of humor and zany personality, I actually looked forward to going to work. Work wasn’t work. You taught me it doesn’t have to be. And when you moved on to bigger and better things, slowly I began to wake up to my own dreams, to realizing that I had to seize the moment and begin building the life I always wanted.

You just do what comes naturally and keep doing it until it really really pays you: changing lives, one heart at a time. If I had to pick one important word that is mixed into all that you do, it would be love. You are one of the biggest hearted people that I know.

Here’s to 30 years of life experiences that make all our lives richer and to a great future that will only get better!

    Michael–

On this milestone birthday, here’s some advice from Sir Cecil Beaton for your next 30 years:

    Be daring,
    Be different,
    Be impractical:
Be anything that will assert integrity of purpose and imaginative vision against
    The play-it-safers
    The creatures of the commonplace,
And the slaves of the ordinary!

Knowing you, I’m guessing that following this advice will be a:

    Piece of cake!!!

    Happy 30th Birthday My Friend–

    Karen

I am modifying my post. “Zany” might not be the right word. I meant it in a good way, of course, because I’ve heard it in conversation used in a positive context, but I must confess, I never actually looked it up until today. I’m replacing the word with “creative” or “bold.” You can be serious when you need to be, but you realize life is too short to play it safe all the time.

Well anyway, you’re wonderful, and brilliant at tuning in to other people. I am so grateful for your friendship. :-)

OK… So, After the past 8 years I have seen Michael in the best of times and the not so good, We have been friends through many situations that life brings our way, Births, Deaths, Illnesses, Parties, Graduations, Birthdays, Holidays, and everything in between… Its the Everything in between that makes our friendship so amazing… We have never had a fight…not saying that we always agree with each other, but we have never had an argument, why you may wonder… We respect each other for who we are and encourage each other to grow and enjoy life no matter what obstacles are thrown our way…. Not many people can say that after this many years they can still look at each other and never have a moment when they weren’t mad at some point. Maybe because we beat ourselves up more then we could to each other… We know each others good points and bad ( Yes, you have bad ones too ) but you and I know we can face them and no matter what, we will support each other. You know I tease you about certain things I see coming that are inevitable ( Tick Tock, Tick Tock ) but you know that I only wish you happiness and Love… in whatever form you find it in…. I love you my friend, for who you are and for who you let me be….. Happy 30th Birthday, I am so glad your catching up to me… Love and Friendship always, Robert

    Happy Birthday Michael,

I am proud to say I have known you for 30 years! I was thrilled 30 years ago when I knew I would have a little brother. You still amazed me by your “talent” to bring joy to everyone you meet. Keep reaching for all that you can be because it has been and continues to be exciting to watch you grow (from the sidelines) all these years.

    Love you a bunch, Eric

    Happy 30th Birthday Michael!!!

I am glad you and Becky were friends so in turn we could be friends, and that we are friends so in turn I could also be friends with Justin.

Thank you for always coming to our BBQ’s even though it rained pretty much every time.

You are one of the funniest and kindest people I know, and we always know we are going to have fun when we all get together.

30! This is exciting! I’m not far myself and I think it’s wonderful to want to hear from all your friends :) Let me start with HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! You have done wonderful for yourself and it will only continue to get better with all the experience and knowledge you have gained throughout your 20′s. It’s a new chapter and a better one!
I’ve known you since we were gonig through puberty… lol! Thats a time were people are at their weirdest and most lost and we mad a bond that is full of funny memories. I think people leave impressions on each other no matter how short or long the relationship was. I only smile when I think of our conway days and couldn’t be more thrilled to be friends with you again! Enjoy your birthday and reading all the wonderful things that will come from the people who love you!

    Best Wishes and inspiration

    Happy Birthday Little Little Brother!!!
You make 30 look marvelous darling. I can’t help but think about your first stage performance in my little livingroom on spoonbill signing your heart out to my Diana Ross record. Yes it was a record not a CD. Most recent memory is you sitting next to me when I was in the ER and even though hospitals aren’t the most comfortable places you like to visit, you stayed and talked and laughed with me and it helped me forget why I was there. I love your sweetie!!

Happy belated birthday. I heard you turned 30!!! You don’t look older than 21!!! I’m riding on your tailcoats though cause I’ll be opening up that door in January. Robert keeps me updated with how well you’re doing and I couldn’t be happier for you. I haven’t seen you since Florida college days but I know you’re doing well and I pray God keeps blessing you. Many incredible wishes for you. Happy birthday.

    Happy Birthday brother!!!!
Lets see………there are so many stories that I could tell but I think the web server would crash!! I was 16 when you were born. I helped Mom and Dad with the feedings and diaper changes when you were an infant. When you were a child, we sang/danced, played video games, and made our own family musical. When you became a teenager, you helped me get ready for my dates (good eye for fashion) and gave me some insight on the dating scene. And now you are a man……….you have accomplished a lot in the past 10 years and I am very proud of you. I can’t wait to see what you will accomplish in the next 50 to 60 years.
    I love you,
    Vic
