You have been reading my blog for awhile now or maybe you are new to my blog (Welcome!) You can read about all the different struggles I have with creating my life and my tips and actions to help you along the way.
There comes a time when you have to stop reading about it and start doing it. This is your time to start doing it!
You ready to start creating your life?
Here is step 1:
Activity: Life Plan
I know it sounds scary to think I am going to ask you to create a life plan but I promise it is not scary at all. Really it is a lot of fun and will get you fired up to move further than step 1.
Right now you have dreams which are basically thoughts in your head. They change from time to time and they are changed by other’s influences. I want you to finally move all those dreams out of your head and on to paper. I want you to start setting the intention to begin reinventing yourself and creating the life you want.
I do not want you to limit yourself. I want you to dream BIG! I want you to make choices from the heart and I want you….wait for it…to be honest with yourself. Promise me you will also laugh while you do it and enjoy the time you spend on this activity knowing you are creating a map for your journey.
This activity will create a map for you to keep you focused and moving forward in life. It is not a destination or a location. It is a simple map to help you along the way. You may take detours, you may get lost, you may find a better ways but that is all part of the journey. This is the map you created for you.
Here we go:
I want you to answer these 20 questions. I want you to answer them as if you are already living your dream life. I want you to think as big as you can. I want you to really create the life that would make you happier. No judgments, no regrets. Answer these questions as if you are living that life RIGHT NOW.
- Where do you live? Location? What is your home like?
- Who are the people in your life? Describe them.
- Who are your best friends? What has kept you friends for so long?
- What do you daily that makes your life happier each day?
- What do you look like? How are you dressed?
- Tell me about your career. What do you do?
- Where do you work? What is the environment like?
- What do you love about your career?
- How much money are you making?
- What do you spend money on?
- What achievements have you made?
- How do you spend your free time?
- How do you view yourself?
- How do your friends and family view you?
- What adventures have you been on?
- What fears have you conquered?
- Describe 5 things that make this life great?
- How are your emotional needs met?
- How are you giving back to your friends and family, community, etc?
- How do you feel about this life?
This is your start. There are tons of more questions I could ask. There are tons of questions and answers that will come up for you during the process. Have fun with it and work on creating your life plan.
Once you are done, you can do what you want with it.
- Keep it in a notebook.
- Create goals from it.
- Create a vision board from it.
- Just feel good you have a focus on where you are headed.
Now, what are you waiting for?

Michael, I really like this one. As I started down the list, I realized I already had several of these things accomplished. It immediately made me feel better and I thought about it all day, feeling even better. We have so much already at hand we fail to recognize it sometimes. And also it allowed me to focus on what I really want out of life and look forward to achieving it. Thanks, keep up the good work.
