I know it is not July 5th but it is just part of the story…
On July 4th, I was amazed of the amount of Happy 4th of July messages, tweets, texts and Facebook statuses I was seeing. When I woke up early on July 5th, my attempt at humor was to post the following message:
Happy July 5th! I felt bad because the 4th gets all the love and I know the 5th is just as special. Well that is what we keep telling it.
I knew a lot of my life coach friends would mention that we need to celebrate every day and today is a gift because it is the only one we are guaranteed.
I was sitting there on the couch, in my underwear, planning to watch reruns of SciFi movies all day, I decided it was so true. You need to celebrate every day and I am going to celebrate July 5th RIGHT NOW. I told Justin to shower and off we went for the day and we attacked these items on my Life List which are listed on the 209 things to do in Orlando…
Took a picture by the Giant Big Wheel at Pop Century.

Played Indoor Glow in the Dark mini Golf (I won)

Traded Disney pins with someone and received the small Eric pin. Yes Eric from the Little Mermaid.
Found Chef Osceolo in the Celebration Hotel mural. (Technically no one that worked there knew what we were talking about so we just took a picture with this statue instead)

Justin and I tried to complete the Kitchen Sink Sundae at Beaches and Cream.

Bought Art from Cafe Tu Tu Tangos. (I really did not see anything I loved , so I purchased a handmade clay heart. I am happy with my choice. Simple and easy!)
Was this all we did? NO! Along our exploring we ran into many other small adventures and detours. It was a full day of spending time together and having fun. This all came from turning the TV off, leaving the couch and deciding to celebrate the day.
I will admit, I like to stay home and just spend the day watching TV and doing nothing after a long week at work. Having down time is always a good thing but after taking this day to have have fun, I realize how much time I waste doing nothing. I am hoping this experience will help with the motivation to keep creating new adventures no matter how big or small.

I love it!
I realized today that since your blog is on the quick links in my phone internet browser (safe stalking distance) I should start being a public fan.
Happy July 7th!

We need to go and get that sundae with you! I think the 4 of us may be able to eat half of it.

If I’m included in that 4 you have NO idea what I am capable of! True story, I’ve finished a half-gallon in one sitting. Ice cream is my thing
Game on!
