In the last month, I have been so surprised by the amount of people who admitted to me they do not use condoms. There were, of course, a list of excuses:
- My boyfriend doesn’t like condoms
- They make it feel less like love
- I am on the pill, I am fine
- But I love him…
But the worse excuse EVER is that I or He is embarrassed to buy condoms. Embarrassed to buy condoms? Why would you be embarrassed to buy them?
This is where you need to change your perspective on the idea of buying condoms. You are buying condoms because you are going to get laid! Why should you be ashamed? You need to walk up to the counter, set them down and smile big as the cashier rings them up.
Better yet, throw 2 boxes down there and let the cashier know it is going to be a busy weekend!
With all kidding aside, please be safe. There is nothing wrong with buying and using condoms. Don’t allow others to make you feel bad. They are just jealous cause they are not having sex like you! ![]()

I am really glad that this information is still being printed.
As a older Gay man, I’ve seen too many Gay men & women of generation die of AIDS.
Sex is part of life, don’t let it become part of death.
Have fun tonight!

That is so true. Sex should be fun but it comes with responsibility. We can not forget that.

It is amazing on a “hook up site” there is a question about HIV status and a lot of guys put negative. I have a friend who proudly and honestly discloses his HIV+ status and he gets a lot of messages saying “Hey I am POZ also” from guys who say they are negative.
Why would people lie to get laid? I DON’T trust the answers on that question, I just assume that EVERYBODY is HIV+ and have safe fun sex!

Exactly Brad you need to protect yourself. Why would we risk our lives based on what someone says that may or may not be true. It is so not worth it.

Better yet, drop some lube on there too, with scented candles and maybe a bag of ice. A Dog Leash for the final touch.
Haha, okay, so maybe I would be the type of person just to buy those extraneous things to freak out the cashier… But in all seriousness, You can’t be too careful out there.
My husband and I don’t practice anal sex simply because neither one of us cares for it. It’s not really a big issue with us, but I have had one friend freak out because his buddy for the night disclosed his positive status after all was said and done. Hard to believe that some guys are really willing to put someone elses life in danger just for a screw.

Thanks for sharing so much with us. I agree with you. It is all not worth it for a screw. It is safer to just realize it is life and protect yourself.
