I am not a huge sports fan. I am not very athletic and I spend most of my life in the arts not on the sports team.

I had the opportunity to attend a homecoming football and decided, why not? I may not understand the game but at least I can say I went once. So I attended the game and it wasn’t long until I caught on to how it was played and joined in on the activities. I was lucky enough to witness part of history as a player ran the most yards to score a touchdown.

If I had said no to going, I would have missed seeing history. If I had said no to going, I would have missed the opportunity to say I have been there. If I had said no to going, I would never truly be able to say I didn’t like it. If I had said no to going, I would have one less memory in life.

I am not saying you need to say yes to everything but think how many times you regret saying no. Wouldn’t life be so much better with a little few regrets?
