Do you remember my fitness goal for this year? Well I signed up for the Expedition Everest Challenge. It is a 5k race with an obstacle course and then a fun scavenger hunt. When you finish you get a medal and get to attend a very cool after party in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This is the first year they are doing it so I am sure the medal will be extra special and the whole event will be a good time. This is also a fun way to get me motivated about fitness. I get to spend the next months training for it but not having to over do because it is only a 5K. All the training will pay off with a fun event and celebration! I also get to cross off getting a medal for finishing a race on my life list. So what is a goal you currently have and what could you do to motivate yourself to keep working towards it? What will you do to celebrate when you achieve your goal?

I signed up for that too! I am NOT runner and have always hated running but now that I have started, I’m really excited about it! I’m still not that good at running endurance wise, but someday I want to run a 100-miler!

I signed up to, really looking forward to it but…
does anyone else have a problem with the clues they have been giving out…..like the H20 one? first of all the answer doesn’t have anything to do with the clue….where does HONOR come in to anything? second of all it is chemically incorrect….H20 means 2 H’s….not 2 O’s…..
the first one about the sign had a double meaning…..”last film before safari”…now personally i chose Lion King because….duh…it took place in Africa…and i figured it was the last thing i would watch before a safari….but they said Lion King was the right answer because it was the last one on the list…..so that means if Little mermaid had been last that would have been the answer…..wierd.

Michael, I saw that one of your goals is to run a 5K……didn’t you go to Expedition Everest Challenge this past weekend? My friend and I competed for the first time and had a blast. Anyway, I hope you get your medal. I am really proud of mine!

I was not able to attend.
I am so bummed I missed it BUT I already made plans to do it next year for sure! That is why it had to go back on the list.
You should be so proud of your medal. You earned it!

This looks like great fun, if not a little tiring. But anything that includes a party at Disney World has gotta be good!
