I love to set goals. Come on, I am a life coach so I help people to set goals all the time so I must love them. Sometimes, though, you have to dream big. All your goals do not have to be steps to a major accomplishment. I like to think about something big I would like and just put it out there and see where it takes me.

My BIG dream is to be on Ellen’s TV show. I do not know why I will be on the show but I know I want an invitation to be a guest on the show. Could be a small segment, could be a guest on the couch, it doesn’t matter. It is all about actually being on the show.

Wouldn’t it be fun to turn on Ellen one day and see me there? Could you imagine how I will feel when I accomplish this one day? It is not about if it will happen, it is all about when it will happen. :)

What is a BIG dream you have?

That is an amazing goal. I happen to love Ellen and think that is a great goal and while it may seem very big, I totally see it as obtainable! If you accomplish something big for the GLBT community, I am sure Ellen will seek you out to be a guest on her show. She has done it in the past and used her show as a platform for this several times in the past! Good luck Michael!

    Interesting goal.
I couldn’t help but think f a time when I was going back to school to finally get a degree and I took a gamble and applied for an internship with Disney, got the job, liked it, stayed with it thr entire time I was going to the University where I went.
Well , making a long story short, I represented Disney locally on our campus and we had a presentation set for the auditorium at the school one night and we in there immediatly before the nights headline guest speaker who happened to be Ellen’s Mother. She had written a book and was on campus to speak about it and the issues it dealt with etc. We ran a bit long and took up some of hr time but she was gracious and came up to me right after we were hurredly finishing up and said to me. ” Don’t you even think I’d try to get in your way because you were doing a great job and representing a wonderful company” I apologized to her but she did’t seem to mind because we were trying to give young people a chance to get internship hours, jobs etc. I think it also helped that Ellen was affiliated with Disney at the time as well or had been. It was pretty neat that Ellen’s mom was nice to me.
