Not all days will be winners but we can always make them better.
Here are my 10 ways to make the day better:
- Go to lunch with a friend
- Curl up on the couch to watch one of your favorite movies again
- Sing to your favorite song in the car
- Write it, to right it
- Enjoy some dark chocolate covered pretzel chips
- Lose yourself in a good audiobook
- Buy some fresh flowers for your room
- Do a random act of kindness
- Get outside and enjoy the sun
- Blow bubbles like you did when you were a kid

So ur Ideal day is to sing while driving to have lunch of dark chocolate pretzels with a friend, and then cutting some flowers for ur own amusement, and to end it by doing some act of kindness by blowing bubbles at some mean person? Sounds like fun, where do I sign up?
Just kidding Michael, although I want to be one of those friends you have lunch with, but it sounds like a great list. Now what makes my day better for me, well Michael, you nailed it on the head by the first words you told me, “So you like to make people smile” As you can tell by the comments I’ve been leaving on your blog that I’m in deed a goof ball and, as my niece Madison reminds me every time I see her, I’m silly. It’s always nice to make someone smile, may it be a friend, or someone who’s serving you like a waiter or a cashier. Everyone needs a smile now and then, also I highly recommend this. Now this is something you have to do in order to have a great life, is to find ways to make yourself laugh. I always do it when I hear a great song and I start to sing and dance like some damn fool, then I see myself and bust out laughing, or when I try yet again to play sports. When I wake up from having the tennis balls smack me on the head, or I trip over my own shadow trying to catch the ball, I’m laughing harder than the people pointing and laughing at me. So please people you must find ways to enjoy life, and those with cars are lucky. I can’t sing in the bus, and Michael we need to talk about audio books, cause I have a lot I think you would enjoy. ^_^

Michael, I subscribed to your blogs but it is always a day behind. <>
Do you know of a way to get current days?
I go to the one that I get in my e-mail and then go to your archives and look for a current post.
Your advice is always right on!
When you say blow bubbles- does that mean with the wand in soapy water? Or bubbles with bubble gum? I have tried to blow bubbles with bubble gum, however I have never been successful.
The chocolate covered pretzels- are you talking about the Nestle flipz? I really am addicted to them so when I buy a bag there is nothing left at the end of the day. :o/
HAVE a GREAT WEEKEND!

PS- What does Write it, to right it mean?

Brad,
Sorry about the delay. I will look into it on my end and see what I can do.
I blow bubbles like soapy water. I love to watch them just float. I still have those little kid fun things I do. It helps me relax.
Write it, to right it - is a phrase I use in coaching. I encourage all my clients to keep journals to write it. Sometimes it is easy to write it out so you can let it go and move on. Get it out of your head, say all you need to say and then continue on with your life. It helps to free you in many ways from the past.
You have a super weekend yourself!
