I turned 30 on July 15 and I am still trying to embrace the number! =) I began to look up if me feeling this “life changing milestone” was something only I was experiencing, but I began to notice that this feeling was common amongst other newly 30 year olds. I really enjoyed your list – particularly these:

8.I have stopped trying to find myself and started creating myself.
9.I get to start anew in my new age range.
14.All the life lessons I learned in my 20s, I can now apply to my life.
15.Don’t have to worry about being 30 because I just AM.
16.Get to read all the self help books about surviving your 30’s and nod in agreement with them.
20.People naturally take you more seriously when you are in your 30s.
21.You get to smile when people can not believe you are 30.
22.No longer have to struggle to be an adult because you have years of practice.
25.When I was younger 30 was OLD, now I feel 30 is young.

Thank you for this list! I realized that being 30 may not be so bad after all!

I’m turning 30 today, and as I was crying about it (literally) I realized, there’s nothing I can do to stop it- so I’d better embrace it. Your list helped me to realize that – life isn’t over at 30. :>) Thank you!

I’m turning 30 in October and I love this post! I think it’s great to embrace it.
I especially like #8.I have stopped trying to find myself and started creating myself.
That’s actually really profound and so true in my own life as well!

I’m 25 and totally freak out when I think I’ll be 30 in 4 years and a couple of months…

But some days ago, I saw the Uefa Champions League final match. Argentinean soccer player Diego Milito (some days to be 31) scored 2 amazing goals. He certainly is the greatest soccer player in the moment, and used to play in a medium Argentinean club, until 25…

Also, I realized the age creativity peak for science, jazz music and painting, is 35 (for men). So, 30’s may rock (if I stay thin and don’t start to get bald)…

Let’s see…
