Moody people AGREED. We all have bad days, but why can't people practice some "balance" in their personality?

People who complain and never do anything about it!!!!! If that's not the absolute truth. That is definitely one of my pet peeves. I have a friend now who I've recently had to distance myself from for this reason. It's quit challenging when you see someone you care for living in a dark hole and not willing to grab hold of the ladder to get themselves out. Instinctively as a friend I want to offer help and solutions but after YEARS of doing this I realize my friend just simply refuses to get up out of that hole. I have no more words of encouragement or support to give. This well has run dry!!!

Great post!

About the gay marriage thing...

The thing is, marriage is a concept. You are certainly allowed to perform a ceremony with all the trappings of a traditional marriage if you want to, without being recognized by church or state. I assume your goal is to recieve the status of "married" from the government, isn't it? If you're looking for your chapel to recognize you, you must first recognize the church for what it is - a big club. Clubs can't be forced to do much, really, and no one likes being forced to add a new member. Anyway, I've never been a fan of marriage in general; I've always thought that money would be better spent on a good vacation than nice words and cheerful music. Save that for the funeral. As to the married status, I have the same outlook. No one should get special treatment for signing a retractable contract. Divorce is far too easy nowadays for couples to recieve benefits for being married. It's just not a sign of commitment anymore.

I'm so glad you put these out here. I was beginning to think you were a perpetual happy person with no dislikes. I especially like the "People who do not respond after you answer their email question(s)" entry so I just sent you a private email to keep the conversation going. Reading these items remind me of some training I had a few years back called "Colors". It was basically a day course on people and what their color is. It's similar to the Myers-Briggs, but much simpler.

Our daughter went through a phase when she would misbehave at restaurants. My husband and I would take turns sitting with her in the car while the other finished their meal. This was not a "play time" for her. We would tell her since she had chosen not to participate nicely in our meal out, she was removed. We only had to do the car thing twice and from then on she was delightful at family nights out.
